Accountex 2016 – The biggest accounting convention in Europe – Why shouldn’t you be there?

The MyFirmsApp team are preparing for this year’s Accountex with enthusiasm to create the best Accountex yet. Before the event starts in earnest, I’m going to discuss how important Accountex 2016 is to MyFirmsApp, as well as many other companies like it.

This year is Accountex’s 5th consecutive year and the pre-exhibition excitement is shared by all involved in its creation. Among the many national accounting exhibitions and conferences that MyFirmsApp get involved in, Accountex rises to the top and has become the go-to place for those looking to learn about brand-new advances in the accounting world, with over 200 industry suppliers attending, 150 CPD Seminars and 25 interactive workshops getting involved! Indeed, Accountex is the largest exhibition for accountants in Europe. Tickets are free, so there’s no barrier to entry and no reason not to get involved.

And we think it’s worth all that effort for 3 reasons:

1. Customers
Accountex provides a great opportunity to meet with hundreds of App customers, to catch up over a coffee or a glass of champagne and explore what’s changed. Plus, this year our head of Research and Development Justin Mays is attending and will be sharing for the first time what’s on the roadmap ahead.

2. Potential App Customers
Accountex provides a relaxed and natural way for potential customers to explore the technology, ask questions, meet clients on stand and review the App. With a team of technical support staff on stand to answer any technical questions – it’s the perfect chance to explore the technology, the features and why 30 – 40 firms per month are coming on board.

3. Partners
The MyFirmsApp solution brings systems together in a way that no other piece of software can. And Accountex is a unique, one off event that brings together all of the major providers into one location, under 1 roof. And that’s great news – we can meet with all our current partners and explore future opportunities.

A unique ‘must attend’ event for any accountancy firm

The overall atmosphere of Accountex from a visitor’s perspective is expected to be much like the previous year: friendly, professional and an eager, competitive industry showcasing their accomplishments and business tricks for all regardless of business rivalries.

Also occurring at the same time and the same place as Accountex is LegalEx, an exhibition designed for law firms and other sects of the legal industry. Although smaller than Accountex, it has taken leaps and bounds in progress since last year’s event. For those willing to attend this venue as well as Accountex, bring your legal contacts with you or make contact with a multitude of law firms enthusiastically searching for new clients.

Perfecting the Accountex cocktail

In previous years we compared Accountex to a perfectly blended cocktail, creating a unique and refined experience you can’t get anywhere else. For 2016 they’ve been slightly reformulating the old recipe by adding more industry suppliers and seminars to the list, with LegalEx providing some extra bite to create another iteration of the Accountex cocktail.

All this creates a perfect environment for MyFirmsApp to demonstrate their unique business solutions to the wider world of accounting, banking, recruitment and training agencies. As the modern world becomes more linked together via Smartphones and other portable devices, business owners and individuals need to consider the usage of mobile applications designed specifically to cater to the needs of their businesses. MyFirmsApp can provide them with bespoke software packages designed specifically for them! Learn how MyFirmsApp has revolutionised the accounting industry by visiting the A1020 stand at Accountex and discover the power of mobile software packages.

One other reason to attend – it’s as good as it can get!

In our opinion there are many reasons to attend Accountex 2016 – but for us one of the biggest is the vibe, the atmosphere and energy. Just being present has a charging, positive effect and makes you proud to be part of the profession. In our view no other event comes close to what you can benefit from when you attend Accountex, and with Accountex 2016 there is going to MORE of the good stuff. MORE speakers, MORE exhibitors, MORE new products to see, MORE free content and MORE to see, learn and do.

The accounting industry has reached a point where mobile technology is all-encompassing and almost everybody; businesses, clients & agents are using them for tasks that either weren’t possible ten years ago or required pen & paper. The added convenience and ease of use afforded by Smartphones and their ‘Mobile Apps’ has put many slow-acting and old fashioned accounting firms under threat of obsolescence and having their clients taken by more forward-thinking firms. With this in mind, now is the best time to recognise the changing landscape of accounting by travelling to Accountex and see how the industry is changing.

Please come along and join us live on stand or in the App workshop next door.
